Ellie Harvie

Ellie Harvie (born April 7, 1965) is a Canadian actress known for her roles in various television shows. She portrayed Morticia on The New Addams Family and later starred as Dr. Lindsey Novak in Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. Harvie was born into a U.S. Air Force family and grew up in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a degree in political studies and moved to Vancouver in 1987. Harvie trained at the Vancouver Playhouse Theatre School and gained experience in stand-up comedy and improv. She has performed in numerous theater productions, including touring with Greenthumb Theatre and participating in Fringe Festivals.
