Elliot Levey is a British actor born on 6 December 1973. He is renowned for his work in British theatre, having performed at prestigious venues such as the Donmar Warehouse, Almeida Theatre, and National Theatre. Levey has had notable roles in productions like the 2004 revival of His Dark Materials at the National Theatre, the 2013 Donmar Warehouse production of Coriolanus alongside Mark Gatiss and Tom Hiddleston, and the premieres of Take Flight (2007) and The Habit of Art (2010) at the Menier Theatre and National Theatre respectively. He has also appeared in Danton's Death (2010) alongside Toby Stephens and Much Ado About Nothing (2011) with David Tennant and Catherine Tate. In 2014, Levey portrayed an American journalist in Ripper Street, and in 2019, he played Judge Jeffreys in the BBC's Martin's Close, a ghost story adaptation.
