Ellise Chappell

Ellise Chappell (born 21 March 1992) is an English actress known for her roles as Morwenna Chynoweth in Poldark and as Jennifer Strange in The Last Dragonslayer. Born and raised in rural Warwickshire, Chappell comes from a creative background, with her mother being an artist and her father running a creative agency. She attended The King's High School for Girls in Warwick and later studied English literature at the University of Sheffield before switching to drama at the University of Exeter, where she graduated in 2014. Chappell further honed her acting skills through an intensive course and later joined the National Youth Theatre, performing in the West End.
