Elsa Raven Biography
Elsa Raven (September 21, 1929 – November 2, 2020) was an American character actress known for her roles in television and film. She gained recognition for her two-year stint on the sitcom Amen from 1988 to 1990 and for portraying Vincent Terranova's mother on the TV series Wiseguy. Raven's most memorable role came in the 1985 film Back to the Future, where she played the clock tower lady who famously exclaimed, 'Save the clock tower!' She also appeared in the 1997 film Titanic as Ida Straus and had a voice role in the 1981 animated film American Pop. Raven adhered to Judaism and passed away on November 2, 2020, in Los Angeles at the age of 91.
