    Elvis Mitchell Biography
    Elvis Mitchell, born December 6, 1958, is an American film critic, radio show host, and visiting lecturer at Harvard University. He has contributed as a film critic for various publications including the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, LA Weekly, Detroit Free Press, and The New York Times. Mitchell has also worked as an interviewer for Interview Magazine. In addition to his roles in journalism and academia, he was appointed as curator of LACMA's film series, Film Independent at LACMA, in 2011. Currently, Mitchell serves as a Film Scholar and lecturer at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Born in Highland Park, Michigan, he graduated from Wayne State University with a major in English.
