Emily Kuroda Biography
Emily Keiko Kuroda (born October 30, 1952) is an American actress known for her role as Mrs. Kim on TV's Gilmore Girls. Born in Fresno, California to Kay and William Kuroda, she began acting and directing in high school and studied drama at California State University, Fresno. Kuroda has had a long and successful career on stage and screen, performing in numerous plays including Straight as a Line, Red, and Winter People. She is a veteran of East West Players, Los Angeles's premier Asian American theater group. Kuroda has also appeared in Ken Narasaki's No-No Boy alongside her husband, Alberto Isaac.
