Emily Yancy (born April 28, 1939) is an American actress and singer known for her work on Broadway and in film and television. She gained recognition for her role as Irene Molloy in the all-black version of Hello, Dolly! in 1967, alongside Cab Calloway. Yancy has appeared in several musical productions, including Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope, Your Own Thing, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, and Man of La Mancha. In addition to her stage work, she has made notable appearances in films such as What's So Bad About Feeling Good? (1968), Tell Me That You Love Me, Junie Moon (1970), Cotton Comes to Harlem (1970), and Blacula (1972). Yancy has also made guest appearances on numerous television shows, including Love, American Style, Sanford and Son, Starsky & Hutch, Diff'rent Strokes, Picket Fences, The Practice, Frasier, How to Get Away with Murder, and Criminal Minds.
