Emma Bolger

Emma Bolger is an Irish actress born on 5 January 1996 in Dublin. She gained recognition as a child actress for her role as Ariel in the 2002 Jim Sheridan film, In America. At the age of seven, Bolger convinced the director to consider her older sister for a role in the film. For her performance in In America, she received a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Feature Film – Young Actress Age Ten or Younger, as well as an Iowa Film Critics Award for Best Supporting Actress. Bolger was also nominated for various other awards, including the Chicago Film Critics Awards, Broadcast Film Critics Association Awards, and Satellite Awards.
