Emmanuel Acho

Emmanuel Chinedum Acho is a Nigerian-American former NFL linebacker and current Fox Sports 1 analyst. Born on November 10, 1990, in Dallas to Igbo immigrants, Dr. Sonny and Christie Acho, he grew up in a family involved in African missionary work. Acho played college football at Texas and was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He later played for the Philadelphia Eagles before retiring in 2015. Acho gained recognition for creating and hosting the anti-racism digital series, 'Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man.' He authored two New York Times bestselling books: 'Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man' and 'Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Boy.'
