Emmitt Smith

Emmitt James Smith III (born May 15, 1969) is an American former football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 15 seasons, primarily with the Dallas Cowboys. He is the league's all-time leading rusher, with a career total of 18,355 yards. Smith grew up in Pensacola, Florida, and achieved great success in high school and college football. He played three years for the Florida Gators, setting numerous school rushing records and earning unanimous All-American honors in 1989. Drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 1990, Smith went on to win three Super Bowl championships with the team, becoming the only running back to achieve this feat.
