Clarke gained recognition for her first acting role in the 2003 television film My House in Umbria, winning the Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Movie, Miniseries, or Special - Supporting Young Actress in 2004. She then went on to have a recurring role as Julie Teeger on the TV series Monk, starting with the season three episode 'Mr. Monk and the Red Herring.' Additionally, Clarke appeared in the film Fur, which was released on November 10, 2006.
