Emory Cohen Biography
Emory Isaac Cohen, born on March 13, 1990, is an American actor. He gained recognition with his debut in the film Afterschool (2008). Cohen is best known for his roles as AJ Cross in The Place Beyond the Pines (2012) and Tony Fiorello in Brooklyn (2015), both directed by Derek Cianfrance and John Crowley respectively. He also portrayed Homer in the Netflix series The OA (2016). Cohen was born in Manhattan, New York and is the only child of Donna and Noel Cohen. He comes from a fourth-generation Russian-Jewish family. Cohen began his acting career in high school and later studied at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
