Ephraim Sykes

Ephraim Manessah Sykes is an American actor and singer, born on July 17, 1985, in St. Petersburg, Florida. He gained recognition for his role as George Eacker in the Broadway musical Hamilton. Sykes showcased his talent in NBC's live production of Hairspray Live! in December 2016, where he portrayed Seaweed J. Stubbs. He also originated the role of David Ruffin in the musical Ain't Too Proud, based on the life of The Temptations. Sykes has made appearances on various television shows, including 30 Rock, Smash, Vinyl, Crisis in Six Scenes, and Detroit. In 2022, he appeared in the TV series Russian Doll as Derek.
