Eric Dickerson
Eric Dickerson is a former American football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 11 seasons. Born on September 2, 1960, Dickerson played college football for the Southern Methodist University Mustangs and was recognized as an All-American. He was selected in the first round of the 1983 NFL Draft and played for the Los Angeles Rams, Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Raiders, and Atlanta Falcons. Dickerson holds the NFL's single-season rushing record with 2,105 yards, set in 1984. He is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and was named to the NFL 100th Anniversary All-Time Team in 2019. Throughout his career, Dickerson wore prescription goggles due to myopia.
