Éric Godon

Eric Godon (born 7 February 1959) is a Belgian character actor, director, and writer. With his burly appearance and deep voice, he has gained recognition for his roles in films such as In Bruges and The Missing. Godon began his acting career at the age of 42 and is largely self-taught, excelling in improvisation. He is multilingual, fluent in French, Dutch, Flemish, English, and German, and has a reasonable command of Hebrew, Spanish, Italian, and Russian. Godon has pursued an international career, appearing in the American film Fishing Without Nets and playing the character of mayor Georges Deloix in the BBC drama The Missing alongside Sean Bean.
