Eric McCormack

Eric James McCormack is a Canadian-American actor known for his roles as Will Truman in the NBC sitcom Will & Grace, Grant MacLaren in Netflix's Travelers, and Dr. Daniel Pierce in the TNT crime drama Perception. Born in Toronto in 1963, McCormack started his acting career by performing in high school plays and later joined the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. In the late 1990s, he moved to Los Angeles and had minor roles before making his feature film debut in The Lost World. McCormack has appeared in several television series including Top Cops, Street Justice, Lonesome Dove: The Series, Townies, and Ally McBeal. He gained global recognition for his portrayal of Will Truman in Will & Grace, earning numerous Golden Globe and Emmy nominations.
