Eric Menyuk

Eric Menyuk (born November 5, 1959) is an American attorney and former actor. He is best known for his brief appearances in the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation as the Traveler. Menyuk was considered for the role of the android Data, but the role was eventually given to Brent Spiner. After retiring from acting, Menyuk retrained as an attorney and now represents children with disabilities, specializing in children's education rights. He made his first appearance as the Traveler in the episode 'Where No One Has Gone Before' in the first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
