Eric Nies Biography
Eric Nies (born May 23, 1971) is an American former model and reality television personality. He gained fame as a cast member on MTV's The Real World: New York and went on to appear on its spinoffs and other reality shows like The Grind and Confessions of a Teen Idol. Nies also hosted The Grind and Hangin' w/MTV. He had a disc jockey role on Days of Our Lives and made appearances in films like Above the Rim and The Brady Bunch Movie. Nies faced financial struggles after a business manager stole a quarter million dollars from him, leading to career setbacks. He has been open about his experiences, including contemplating suicide.
