Eric Schaeffer Biography
Eric Schaeffer (born January 22, 1962) is an American actor, writer, and director. He was born in New York City, New York, and graduated with a degree in drama and dance from Bard College. Before establishing himself in the film industry, Schaeffer worked as a New York City taxi driver for nine years, during which he wrote numerous stage plays, a novel, and twenty screenplays. Schaeffer gained recognition for his collaboration with Donal Lardner Ward on the independent film My Life's in Turnaround (1993). This led to the creation of the short-lived sitcom Too Something (1995–1996) and the opportunity to direct the romantic comedy If Lucy Fell (1996). He also starred in the 1997 romantic drama Fall opposite Amanda de Cadenet.
