    Eric Server is an American television actor who was born on December 4, 1944, in Santa Monica, California. He gained recognition for his role as Dr. Theopolis, the voice of the computer brain, in the 1979 TV series Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. Additionally, from 1979 to 1981, he appeared as Lt. Jim Steiger in 17 episodes of B.J. and the Bear. Server made guest appearances in popular shows like Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Battlestar Galactica, and The Incredible Hulk. Throughout his career, he had recurring roles in multiple network series, including Ironside, Barnaby Jones, The Rockford Files, Police Story, The Streets of San Francisco, Hunter, Switch, Emergency!, Lou Grant, Simon & Simon, and T.J. Hooker.
