Eric Stough
Eric Stough (born July 31, 1972) is an American animator and producer. He is best known for his work as the animation director and producer on the television series South Park. Born in Evergreen, Colorado, Stough graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1995 with a degree in film. He has been a longtime friend and collaborator of Trey Parker and Matt Stone, working with them on various projects including South Park, South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut, Orgazmo, Team America: World Police, and the Broadway musical The Book of Mormon. Stough has received five Primetime Emmy Awards and a Peabody Award for his work on South Park. He was also the inspiration for the character of Butters Stotch on the show.
