Erin Doherty Biography
Erin Rachael Doherty (born 16 July 1992) is a British actress known for her roles in The Crown and Chloe. She portrayed the young Princess Anne in the third and fourth seasons of the Netflix drama, The Crown, and played Becky in the BBC/Amazon Prime drama Chloe (2022). Doherty, of Irish heritage, hails from West Green, West Sussex. She began acting in Sunday drama classes with her sister Grace at a young age. Doherty studied at Hazelwick School in Crawley and excelled in football, playing in midfield for and captaining the Crawley Wasps. She was scouted by Chelsea Women but ultimately chose to pursue acting. Doherty trained at the Guildford School of Acting and the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, winning the Stephen Sondheim Society Student Performer of the Year Award in 2015.
