Erin Karpluk

Erin Karpluk is a Canadian actress known for her portrayal of Erica Strange on the CBC Television series Being Erica from 2009 to 2011. Born in 1980 in Jasper, Alberta, she is of Ukrainian descent. Karpluk studied theatre at the University of Victoria and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2000. She began her acting career in Vancouver, appearing in various television movies and series before landing the role of Kate in Godiva's. Karpluk has also appeared in other notable productions such as Dark Angel, Family Sins, Legend of Earthsea, and Ripper 2: Letter from Within. Her performances have earned her nominations for Leo and Gemini awards.
