Ernie Lively (1947-2021) was an American actor and acting coach. He is known for his roles in movies such as Passenger 57, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. Lively appeared in TV shows like The Waltons, The Dukes of Hazzard, The X-Files, That '70s Show, and The West Wing. He was the father of actors Lori Lively, Jason Lively, Robyn Lively, Eric Lively, and Blake Lively. Lively changed his surname from Brown to Lively and took his wife's name. He had a successful career as a character actor, with credits dating back to the 1970s.
