Esther Jane Hall is an English actress born on August 28, 1970, in Manchester. She was brought up in Cheshire and completed her A levels in Manchester. Hall then pursued her passion for theatre arts and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Leeds's Bretton Hall College. She gained recognition for her role as Romey Sullivan in the television drama 'Queer as Folk' (1999-2000), where she portrayed one half of a lesbian couple. Hall has appeared in various TV dramas, including 'Men Only' (2001), 'Always and Everyone' (2000-01), and 'Spooks' (2002-2003). She also starred in an episode of 'Midsomer Murders' in 2004.
