Esther Scott (April 13, 1953 – February 14, 2020) was an American actress known for her television and film appearances. Born in Flushing, Queens, New York, on April 13, 1953, Scott developed an interest in acting during her time at Bronx High School of Science. She later graduated with a degree in theater arts from San Francisco State University. Scott's career began as a voice actress on Star Wars: Ewoks and went on to include roles in popular television shows including Beverly Hills, 90210, Full House, Party of Five, Ellen, The Steve Harvey Show, and Sister, Sister. She also had recurring roles on The Geena Davis Show, City Guys, The Help, and Hart of Dixie. In film, she appeared in notable movies such as Boyz n the Hood, The Kid, You Got Served, and Dreamgirls.
