Ethan Cutkosky

Ethan Francis Cutkosky is an American actor and musician, born on August 19, 1999, in Campton Hills, Illinois. He is best known for his roles as Carl Gallagher on the Showtime series Shameless and Barto in The Unborn. Cutkosky's mother, Yvonne Cabrera Cutkosky, is a teacher, and his father, David Cutkosky, is a computer software engineer. He attended Bell Graham Elementary School and Thompson Middle School in Illinois before enrolling in St. Charles East High School. Cutkosky began his acting career at the age of eight, landing his first film role in Fred Claus (2007). He continues to be active in both film and television projects.
