Eugene Lee Yang Biography
Eugene Lee Yang (born January 18, 1986) is an American filmmaker, actor, author, and internet celebrity. He gained recognition for his work with BuzzFeed from 2013 to 2018 and for being a member of the YouTube group The Try Guys since 2014. Yang has contributed to various human rights and LGBTQ+ advocacy charities, including The Trevor Project. In addition to his online presence, Yang has showcased his talent in acting by voicing the character Ambrosius Goldenloin in the animated film Nimona. Born and raised in Pflugerville, Texas, Yang is the son of South Korean immigrants and has discovered additional Chinese and Japanese ancestry through a DNA test. He has two sisters and has been open about his struggles with body image and bullying in his early years.
