Evan Dando

Evan Griffith Dando (born March 4, 1967) is an American musician and the frontman of the rock band the Lemonheads. He has also pursued a solo career and collaborated with various artists. In December 2015, Dando was inducted into the Boston Music Awards Hall of Fame. Born in Essex, Massachusetts, Dando grew up in Boston after his family moved there when he was nine. He attended Commonwealth School before briefly enrolling at Skidmore College. Dando formed the Lemonheads in 1986 with Ben Deily and Jesse Peretz, originally known as the Whelps. They gained popularity with their energetic performances and released several albums throughout the years.
