Evan Thomas Peters (born January 20, 1987) is an American actor known for his versatile performances. He began his acting career with a role in the 2004 drama film Clipping Adam and gained early recognition for his work on the ABC science fiction series Invasion from 2005 to 2006. Peters rose to prominence through his collaboration with Ryan Murphy, starring in all ten seasons of the FX anthology series American Horror Story from 2011 to 2021. He showcased his talent in the HBO crime miniseries Mare of Easttown (2021), winning a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor. Peters further impressed audiences with his portrayal of Jeffrey Dahmer in Murphy's Netflix miniseries Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story (2022), earning a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. He has also appeared in notable films such as Kick-Ass (2010) and the X-Men film series (2014–2019).
