Evan Taubenfeld

Evan Taubenfeld is an American singer and musician, born on June 27, 1983, in Baltimore, Maryland. He is best known for his role as Avril Lavigne's lead guitarist, music director, and frequent collaborator. Taubenfeld released his debut album, Welcome to the Blacklist Club, in 2010. He comes from a musical family, with a younger brother named Drew, who is a multi-instrumentalist and musical director for Kacey Musgraves, and a younger sister named Annie. Taubenfeld developed a passion for music at an early age, starting with piano and later transitioning to drums and guitar. He formed the band Spinfire with his friend Matt after a few years of playing guitar.
