Ewan Stewart Biography
Ewan Stewart is a Scottish film, television, and stage actor. Born on August 26, 1957, in Glasgow, Scotland, Stewart is the son of the late Scottish entertainer Andy Stewart. He was educated at Clifton Hall School and Merchiston Castle School in Edinburgh. In 1975, Stewart moved to London, where he began working in theaters and studying drama. He made his first television appearance in an advertisement for Scottish 'Bluebell' matches and went on to have major TV roles, including Dr. Robbie Meadows in Only Fools and Horses. Stewart is known for his portrayal of First Officer Murdoch in the film Titanic (1997) and has been considered for the role of James Bond. He also starred in the film Ecstasy in 2008, based on Irvine Welsh's book The Undefeated.
