Fabrizio Gifuni (born 16 July 1966) is an Italian stage, film, and television actor. He gained recognition for his breakout role as Pelaia in Gianni Amelio's The Way We Laughed in 1998. Gifuni has won two Silver Ribbons and two David di Donatello Awards for his contributions to the film industry. He received his first David di Donatello nomination in 1999 for his performance in A Love and a second nomination in 2003 for The Best of Youth. In 2012, he received his third nomination for his role in Piazza Fontana: The Italian Conspiracy. Gifuni's talent and versatility have made him a prominent figure in Italian cinema.
