Faith Prince Biography
Faith Prince (born August 6, 1957) is an American actress and singer, known for her work in musical theatre. She rose to prominence on Broadway with her Tony Award-winning performance as Miss Adelaide in the 1992 revival of Guys and Dolls. Born in Augusta, Georgia, and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia, Prince attended E.C. Glass High School and studied theater at the University of Cincinnati – College-Conservatory of Music. She made her Broadway debut in Jerome Robbins' Broadway in 1989 and has since received three additional Tony nominations. Notable roles include Tessie Tura in Gypsy and Ella Peterson in Bells Are Ringing.
