Fawzia Mirza

Fawzia Mirza is a Canadian film and TV actress, writer, producer, and director. She is known for her work in the web series Kam Kardashian and Brown Girl Problems, as well as the 2017 film Signature Move. Mirza was born in London, Ontario, Canada, and grew up in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Her parents, who were born in India and migrated to Pakistan, eventually settled in Indiana, where Mirza finished high school. She then moved to Chicago, where she studied English and political science at Indiana University and later attended law school. After working as a litigator for two and a half years, she pursued a career in acting, focusing on projects related to the LGBT community and advocating for visibility of queer Muslim women.
