Fay Ripley

Fay Ripley (born 26 February 1966) is an English actress, television presenter, and recipe author. She graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1990. Ripley began her acting career with a role in the chorus of a pantomime version of Around the World in 80 Days. She supplemented her earnings by working as a children's entertainer and selling menswear door-to-door. Ripley's first major film role was in Mute Witness (1995) as Karen Hughes. Her breakthrough role came in 1996 when she was cast as Jenny Gifford in the ITV series Cold Feet. After three full series, she left the show to pursue more varied roles and spend time with her family.
