Fernando Albizu
Fernando Albizu (born 1963) is a Spanish television, film and stage actor. He was born in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Álava, in 1963. Before pursuing acting, Albizu studied architecture and fashion design, and worked as a design and anatomy teacher. In Madrid, he discovered his passion for acting while working as a costume designer for a cabaret group. Albizu began his career in stage performances and made his early film appearances in short films after 1994. He also showcased his comedic talent in stand-up comedy television shows like Los irrepetibles and El club de la comedia. Albizu has been cast in various episodic roles in popular TV series including Cuéntame, Hospital Central, and Mis adorables vecinos. He gained recognition for his main role as Manolo in the sitcom Casi perfectos (2004–2005), and also starred in telenovelas like El auténtico Rodrigo Leal and Gominolas.
