Fernando Alonso

Fernando Alonso Díaz, born on July 29, 1981, is a Spanish racing driver currently competing for Aston Martin in Formula One. He has had an illustrious career, winning the World Drivers' Championship with Renault in 2005 and 2006. Alonso has also driven for McLaren, Ferrari, and Minardi during his Formula One journey. In addition to his Formula One success, he has achieved remarkable feats in endurance racing. With Toyota, Alonso won the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans twice, in 2018 and 2019, and the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2018–19. In 2019, he also triumphed at the 24 Hours of Daytona with Wayne Taylor Racing. Alonso is recognized as the only driver to win both the F1 World Drivers' Championship and the World Endurance Championship. Hailing from Oviedo, Asturias, Alonso began his racing career at an early age, starting with kart racing at the age of three and subsequently achieving success in various championships. He made his Formula One debut with Minardi before joining Renault.
