Filippo Nigro

Filippo Nigro (born 3 December 1970) is an Italian actor known for his work in movies and television shows. He was born in Rome and studied at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia under Lina Wertmüller. Nigro gained recognition for his role as Filippo in the 2003 drama film 'Facing Windows', directed by Ferzan Ozpetek. He was appointed Shooting Star at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2004. Nigro has also appeared in other notable films such as 'The Ignorant Fairies' (2001), 'Different from Whom?' (2008), and 'They Call It Summer' (2012). Additionally, he has worked on various television projects. Nigro is married to film and television producer Gina Gardini and has three children.
