Finbar Lynch is an Irish actor, born on August 28, 1959, in Dublin. At the age of 11, he moved with his family to Inverin, County Galway, where his father ran a clothing factory. Lynch began his acting career by auditioning for a minor role in the play A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams. He has since appeared in various stage productions, earning a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play. On television, Lynch has had recurring roles in the soap opera Glenroe, Proof, Breathless, and the miniseries Small World. He continues to be active in both stage and screen projects.
