Alfred Langston Mitchell, professionally known as Finesse Mitchell, is an American actor, stand-up comedian, and author. Born on June 12, 1972, in Atlanta, Mitchell attended the University of Miami, where he played football and was a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. He made his television debut in 1999 on BET's Comic View and gained popularity among viewers. Mitchell then appeared on The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn and Late Night with Conan O'Brien. From 2003 to 2006, he was a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live. Mitchell has also appeared on various shows including Showtime at the Apollo, Comedy Central Presents, Disney Channel's A.N.T. Farm, and NBC's Late Friday.
