    Fisayo Akinade Biography
    Fisayo Akinade (born 28 December 1987) is an English actor known for his roles in various television shows and theater productions. He gained recognition for portraying Dean Monroe in the Channel 4 series Cucumber and Banana. Akinade has also appeared in the popular Netflix series Heartstopper as Mr. Ajayi. In theater, he has performed in The Crucible at the Gielgud Theatre in London. Akinade was born in Liverpool and spent part of his childhood in Nigeria before returning to the UK. He initially aspired to be a gymnast but turned to acting after an injury. Akinade trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
