Fisher Stevens

Fisher Stevens (born Steven Fisher; November 27, 1963) is an American actor, director, producer, and writer. He gained recognition for his roles as Ben in Short Circuit (1986) and Short Circuit 2 (1988). Stevens is also an accomplished documentary filmmaker, winning the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature for The Cove (2010) and directing films such as Crazy Love (2007) and Before the Flood (2016). He has appeared in notable films like Reversal of Fortune (1990), Bob Roberts (1992), Hackers (1995), Anything Else (2003), and Hail, Caesar! (2016). Stevens has also made appearances in several Wes Anderson films, including The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014), Isle of Dogs (2018), The French Dispatch (2021), and Asteroid City (2023). On television, he has portrayed characters such as Chuck Fishman in Early Edition (1996-2000), Marvin Gerard on The Blacklist (2015-2022), Gabriel Kovac in The Good Fight (2017-2020), and Hugo Baker in Succession (2019-2023).
