Florence Kasumba

Florence Kasumba is a Ugandan-born German actress. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Ayo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, as well as the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Additionally, she has appeared in German and Dutch films. Kasumba also played Senator Acantha in Wonder Woman, Shenzi in The Lion King, and the Wicked Witch of the East in the NBC series Emerald City. Born on 26 October 1976 in Kampala, Uganda, she attended school in Essen, Germany, before studying acting, singing, and dancing at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.
