Fran Bennett Biography
Fran Bennett (August 14, 1937 – September 12, 2021) was an American actress known for her works in theater and on television. She made her acting debut in theater and her television debut on the daytime soap opera Guiding Light. Bennett had guest-starring roles in notable shows such as Roots: The Next Generations, Lou Grant, Dallas, Falcon Crest, Knots Landing, L.A. Law, and Dynasty. She had a regular role in the NBC medical drama Nightingales (1989) and recurring roles in soap operas General Hospital, The Bold and the Beautiful, and Sunset Beach. Bennett also appeared in Quantum Leap, In the Heat of the Night, Crisis Center, and The Book of Daniel. Her most recent TV appearances include Boston Legal, ER, Becker, and a re-creation of The Jeffersons pilot in Live in Front of a Studio Audience: Norman Lear's All in the Family and The Jeffersons.
