Fran Mary Ryan (November 29, 1916 – January 15, 2000) was an American character actress known for her roles in television and films. Born in Los Angeles, California, Ryan began her performing career at a young age, appearing on stage in California and Chicago. During World War II, she entertained troops as a member of the USO. Ryan made her television debut in 1966 on the show Batman, followed by appearances on Beverly Hillbillies and Columbo. She gained recognition for her roles as Aggie Thompson on The Doris Day Show and as Doris Ziffel on Green Acres. Ryan's career spanned several decades, and she made notable contributions to the entertainment industry.
