Frances O'Connor Biography
Frances O'Connor is a British-born Australian actress and director. She is best known for her roles in films such as Mansfield Park, Bedazzled, A.I. Artificial Intelligence, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Timeline. O'Connor's notable achievements include winning an AACTA Award for her performance in Blessed and earning two Golden Globe Award nominations for her performances in Madame Bovary and The Missing. In 2022, she made her debut as a writer and director with the release of her feature film, Emily. O'Connor was born in Wantage, England and moved to Perth, Australia at a young age. She attended the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in literature from Curtin University.
