Francesca Delbanco Biography
Francesca Delbanco (born May 1974) is an American novelist and screenwriter. She gained recognition as the co-creator of the television series Friends from College (2017–2019) and Platonic (2023–present). Delbanco was born and raised in Bennington, Vermont. Her parents, Elena and Nicholas Delbanco, were both writers and faculty members at Bennington College. She attended Harvard College, where she concentrated in history and literature of the United States. Delbanco also completed an MFA from the University of Michigan. Prior to her writing career, she worked in New York City for Warner Books and Seventeen magazine. Delbanco's work showcases her talent in storytelling and has captivated audiences through her television series and novels.
