Frank Adonis (October 27, 1935 – December 26, 2018) was an American film and television actor. He is best known for his portrayal of mobster Anthony Stabile in the 1990 film Goodfellas. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Adonis began his acting career in the early 1970s. He appeared in films such as The French Connection, Shaft's Big Score!, Raging Bull, and King of New York. Adonis also had roles in popular movies like Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, True Romance, Casino, and Wall Street. Throughout his career, he worked with notable directors such as Martin Scorsese and Oliver Stone. Adonis passed away in 2018, leaving behind a legacy of memorable performances.
