Frank Converse Biography
Frank Converse (born May 22, 1938) is an American actor. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in drama from Carnegie Institute of Technology (now Carnegie Mellon University) in 1962. Converse has appeared in numerous Broadway productions, including The Philadelphia Story, Design for Living, A Streetcar Named Desire, and Lady in the Dark. He has also performed in off-Broadway productions such as The House of Blue Leaves and South Pacific. Converse gained recognition for his roles in television series such as Coronet Blue, N.Y.P.D., Movin' On, The Family Tree, and Dolphin Cove. He has also appeared in soap operas like One Life to Live and As the World Turns. Converse has also made his mark in the TV movie thriller genre, starring alongside Bing Crosby in a 1971 film.
